- In view of the termination of its operations by the outsourcing partner M/s. VFS Global for visa, passport, OCI, Surrender, Miscellaneous Consular Services (collectively called CPV services) w.e.f 01.06.2025, all CPV services will now be directly made available and handled from Consular Section of Embassy of India, The Hague.
- In the first stage, all applicants are required to complete the application process for their specific consular services as per the guidelines mentioned in the consular section of the website of Embassy of India, The Hague. In the second stage, the applicant is required to book an appointment through an online appointment system which has been made available on the Embassy’s website.
- Consular appointments in the new system will be released in two batches, to ensure better availability and flexibility. Firstly, monthly appointments will be released in bulk on first day of the month. Subsequently, weekly appointments will be released on every Sunday.
- First, batch of monthly appointments will be released on first day of October, 2025 (0900 hrs CET) for the month of November, 2025. Subsequently, the same cycle will repeat every month.
- Weekly appointments will start on Sunday i.e. September 21, 2025 (0900 hrs CET) for the week beginning on September 22, 2025. Thereafter, weekly appointment will be released on every Sunday.
- At a time an applicant can book only one slot. Second appointment can be booked only after availing/canceling the already booked appointment.
- Applicants are requested to cancel their appointment in case of their inability to appear at the Embassy as per the booked slot. Cancellation is possible until 12 Hrs prior to the date of appointment. Canceled slot will then be automatically open to other applicants.
- Please note that, Embassy of India in The Hague has NOT outsourced consular services to any private agency. Any misuse of appointment system by any agency or individual, false claim or pretext of emergency etc. may render the agency and the applicant liable for denial of services subsequently.
- Services to the applicant will be given according to the Service selected by the applicant from the drop-down menu of appointment system at the time of booking appointment. Embassy will not entertain request for granting service other than the ones selected by the applicants.
- Applicant must carry his/her passport/ID card, print of the appointment confirmation email, completed application form, and the required documents as per the checklist required for specific consular services at the time of visiting the Embassy.
- No person without valid appointment letter will be allowed entry inside the Embassy.
- In case of lost passports for Tourists (not resident of Netherlands), applicants can walk-in for submitting the application for Emergency Certificate.

- Please note that no facilities like photocopy, photograph etc. is available within the Embassy.
- Incomplete application and missing documents or incorrect in-filled forms will not be accepted.
- For delivery, please ensure that the applicant has the self-addressed envelope alongwith a pre-paid airway bill (at least three months validity) of any post/courier service in the Netherlands. Application without the pre-paid self addressed envelope will not be accepted.
